Journey to the Enchanted Forest

Close your eyes, and take a few deep breaths. Inhale deeply, fill your lungs with fresh air, and exhale slowly, letting go of any tension or stress you may be holding onto. Continue to breathe deeply, allowing your body and mind to relax with each exhale.

Now, imagine yourself standing at the entrance to a beautiful, enchanted forest. The sun is shining down, casting a warm golden light through the branches of the ancient trees. The scent of pine and earth fills the air, and you can hear the soothing sounds of birdsong and rustling leaves.

As you walk along the forest path, feel the soft ground beneath your feet, cushioning each step you take. With every breath, feel yourself becoming more connected to the natural world around you as if you are becoming one with the forest.

You come across a gently flowing stream sparkling in the sunlight. Pause for a moment and listen to the calming sound of the water as it trickles over the smooth stones. Feel a gentle breeze on your face, carrying the refreshing scent of the water and the surrounding greenery.

As you continue deeper into the forest, you notice that the light filtering through the trees has a calming, almost magical quality. You feel a sense of peace and tranquillity enveloping you as if the forest embraces you in its gentle arms.

Eventually, you come to a small clearing with a soft carpet of vibrant green moss and delicate wildflowers covering the ground. In the centre of the clearing stands a majestic old oak tree, its branches stretching out like a protective canopy overhead.

Sit down beneath this ancient tree, feeling the support of its strong trunk against your back. Feel the tree’s energy flowing into you, filling you with a deep sense of calm and serenity. Close your eyes and take a few more deep breaths, allowing your body to relax into the earth completely.

Now, imagine a soft, golden light forming around your heart. This light represents the love and kindness you have within yourself. As you breathe in, feel this light expanding, filling your entire body with warmth and compassion. With each exhale, imagine this golden light radiating out from you, touching the plants, animals, and trees around you.

As you continue to breathe, visualise this golden light growing even more potent and brighter, enveloping the entire enchanted forest in a warm, nurturing glow. Know that you are a part of this interconnected web of life and carry this calming energy wherever you go.

When you feel ready, take a few deep, rejuvenating breaths and gently bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings. Slowly open your eyes and take a moment to appreciate the peacefulness you have cultivated within yourself. Remember that you can always return to this enchanted forest in your mind whenever you need a moment of calm and tranquillity.
